Website Privacy Policy

Fence Menders uses this website to explain our services, receive estimate requests, and understand how the site performs. We do not sell website visitors' personal information.

Information you provide

When you request an estimate, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, project description, and any photos or videos you choose to upload. We use that information to respond to your request, evaluate the project, and maintain normal business records.

Traffic analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to collect aggregated, cookie-free information such as page views, referring pages, approximate location, device type, browser, and operating system. Vercel does not provide Fence Menders with information that identifies an individual visitor.

Behavior analytics

For visitors whose approximate network location is California, Microsoft Clarity records interactions such as clicks, scrolling, navigation, and page layout so we can identify confusing or broken parts of the site. Estimate and contact forms are explicitly masked, and form entries are not included in recordings.

We use Vercel's country and region headers only to decide whether Clarity loads. Before loading Clarity for a California visit, the site denies advertising storage and enables analytics storage. Clarity does not load when the region is outside California or cannot be determined.

Advertising and conversion measurement

When Google Tag Manager is configured, we use it to support Google Analytics and Google Ads campaign measurement. Google may receive technical information such as the page URL, referring page, campaign identifiers, browser or device information, and conversion events such as a phone-link click or a successfully submitted estimate request. We do not send the contents of estimate forms through these conversion events.

The site denies Google analytics and advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization by default. Google measurement remains inactive when no Tag Manager container is configured.

Service providers and retention

We use service providers including Vercel, Microsoft Clarity, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Workspace, and Google Drive to host the website, measure performance, attribute advertising results, and process estimate requests. Website analytics and business inquiries are retained according to the applicable provider settings and our legitimate operational needs.
